How to Identify Which Website is Created in WordPress
To identify whether a website is built in wordpress, follow few tips.
1. Check the website source code
One of very easy and fast method to identify, a website created in wordpress is to check the source code. To check the source code of any website simply right click in your chrome browser and then select view source code. You can do this, simply pressing Ctrl + U key on keyboard. When source code in opened, search the word wp-content. If you find wp-content, you will come to know important files are being loaded from wp-content/folder. Now its confirmed that this site is built in WordPress.

2. By Visiting Websites URLs Followed by wp-Admin and wp-login.php
One of the common way to identify a wordpress website is to visit website url followed by /wp-admin OR /wp-login.php, If wordpress login screen opens, it confirms that site in created in wordpress.
URL/wp-admin/ OR url/wp-login.php.
3. By Using Chrome Extensions
There are many chrome extension, being used to identify, in which language a website is created, one of them is wappalyzer. In this exercise I will use wappalyzer to identify a wordpress website.
How to Add Wappalyzer Extension in Chrome Browser
First of all open google chrome browser and type following URL https://chrome.google.com/webstore/. Now search wappalyzer extension in search box, when search is completed you will see wapplyzer extension, click on add to chrome button as you can see in image given below:

When Wapplyzer extension is added now you have to identify which website is created in wordpress.
Here i am going to identify five websites built in WordPress.
First Website
First of all I visited https://techcrunch.com. You can see in image given below Wapplyzer wordpress icon is displayed.

To make sure this site is created in wordpress I write
/wp-login.php in front of site URL, here you can see wordpress login screen is opened.

Second Website
I typed URL https://www.bata.com/ followed by wp-admin in my chrome browser address bar, this time wordpress login screen shown on my desktop. I come to know that this site is created in wordpress.

Now I visited https://blog.mozila.org/ . In Wapplyzer extension I see wordpress icon.

The last site I visited to confirm this site is created in wordpress or not, is http://vdigiskills.com/. I come to know through wapplyzer extension this site is created in wordpress.
